Jill Krapf MD, MEd, FACOG, MSCP, IF

Dr. Krapf is a board-certified OB/GYN and vulvovaginal pain specialist. She served as Associate Director at The Centers for Vulvovaginal Disorders alongside Dr. Andrew Goldstein from 2019, and in 2023 opened her own practice focused on diagnosing and treating vulvar pain. An active researcher, she has authored textbook chapters and peer-reviewed articles on vulvodynia, vulvar dermatoses, and hypoactive sexual desire disorder. She is Associate Editor for the Journal of Sexual Medicine Online Access and the textbook Female Sexual Pain Disorders, and is a Fellow of both the ISSVD and the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health.

Dr. Erika Pluhar, PhD, EdS, LMFT, CST-S

Erika Pluhar is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, and AASECT-certified Sex Therapist and Supervisor. With over 20 years of experience in research, teaching, and clinical practice, she provides individual, couple, and group therapy, as well as supervision and training for professionals. Her work focuses on a range of sexual and relationship concerns—including low desire, desire discrepancies, painful sex, arousal and orgasm difficulties, life transitions, and healing from sexual trauma—using an active, directive approach grounded in empathy and attachment theory.

Dr. Heather Jeffcoat is an orthopaedic and pelvic health physical therapist in Los Angeles and the owner of Fusion Wellness & Femina Physical Therapy. A leader in her field, she is the immediate Past President of the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy and serves on the Advisory Board of the International Pelvic Pain Society. She also authored Sex Without Pain: A Self-Treatment Guide to the Sex Life You Deserve. Her work reflects a commitment to treating the whole person and expanding access to pelvic health care.

Caroline Pukall, PhD

Dr. Pukall is a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Sexual Health, Professor of Psychology, and Director of the Sexual Health Research Laboratory and Sex and Relationship Therapy Service at Queen’s University. Her research focuses on genitopelvic pain conditions such as vulvodynia and persistent genital arousal disorder, with a strong commitment to inclusivity. An international leader in sexual health, she has published extensively, contributed to treatment guidelines, and provides advanced clinical training in evidence-based care.

Somi Javaid, MD, FACOG

Dr. Somi Javaid is a board-certified OB/GYN, sexual health thought leader, and menopause advocate. She is the Founder and Chief Medical Officer of HerMD, a company dedicated to empowering women through education, advocacy, and exceptional healthcare. A former Assistant Professor of Gynecology at the University of Cincinnati, she completed her preceptorship at the San Diego Institute of Sexual Medicine and is a member of NAMS and ISSWSH. Recognized as a “Cincinnati Top Doc” and featured in outlets such as Forbes, Vogue, and InStyle, she is also a TEDx speaker on gender bias and women’s sexual health.
